Another year ends on a good note.
So, last night, relaxed with the family and saw Ridley Scott’s epic “Gladiator”! One of my all-time favorite films, absolute stunning, even after 8 years. In fact, this is the second time that I have closed out a year to this film (the first I assume was 2000’s new year’s eve). Quite a way to celebrate a good year and be inspired for the new adventures to come!
I have much to say about this film, might take several posts, hopefully soon to come.
In the meantime a bit of nostalgia: check out the old Gladiator teaser trailer, wow, back in the day. The film hasn’t aged a day, but the film feels almost comically dated. What it does have going for it though: “Conan the Barbarian” theme by Basil Poledouris (one of the best movie themes ever!).
